Written by Daniel D. Smith, Nutshell is Poison Apple Entertainment's fourth film, starring Andrew Dawe-Collins, Taylor Henkin, Jonathan West, Nikki Smith, Wendel Millstead, Curtis Lee Vest, and Robert Langley. Filming is expected to start in early January. Stay tuned for more details on this drama!

Congratulations to the Poison Apple Entertainment sound team, Robert Langley and Adam Lang, for winning the Best Sound Design Award at the 48 Hour Film Project: Detroit. PAE is very fortunate to have THE BEST of the best and is glad they got the recognition they deserve! Also, Malus Domestica took home the Audience Choice Award! Way to go everyone!

This film challenge went much smoother than the last, that's for sure. The genre was Silent Film and our creative team and talented actors certainly found a way to keep this film anything but silent. Come see Malus Domestica this Thursday at the Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak at 9:00 pm and let us know what you think!

We completed the DWIFF challenge, and not a moment too soon. After many complications in post-production, our team leaders left with our finished DVD and magically handed it in on time. Our genre was Lifetime Movie, and though the majority of our team was not familiar with this genre, we were happy with its outcome.
PAE and Captive8 join forces!

In two days, Poison Apple Entertainment and Captive8 will team up for their first 48 hour film challenge together at the DWIFF. For those unfamiliar with the concept, the challenge takes place from Friday-Sunday, and in that time we're given a genre, character, line of dialogue, and a prop that must appear in the film. Basically, we will be creating a film, start to finish, in 48 hours. Let the craziness begin!
